PHYLLIS TERRELL is currently represented by Amsterdam Whitney Gallery in New York City where she has exhibited for several years in group shows. She is also represented by Mountain Gallery in Clarkesville, GA and Xanadu Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ.  She participated in the Art Buyers Caravan, sponsored by Decor Magazine, for four years, and has sold her artwork in galleries throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Japan. "Her light-filled paintings emanate bliss and purity. The clear colors and uncluttered compositions declare a reverence for nature and its intrinsic, simple beauty, ("Reviews and Previews," Manhattan-Arts). She has lived in the lovely picturesque mountains of Northeast Georgia for the past 48 years where she began exhibiting and selling her paintings in 1968. Her art training began with Art Instruction Schools, Inc., followed by several oil and watercolor workshops. Her paintings have been presented in art festivals in many states and more than 3100 pieces have been purchased for private collections.

Phyllis Terrell’s watercolor compositions radiate regenerative energies with luminous subjects found in the natural world, capturing the delicate beauty of radiant flowers and the whimsical flurry of breezing petals through spectral hues and expressive brushstrokes.
